Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155-bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Role 

Whilst demonstrating your personal and coaching skills, you will deliver high-quality courses and activities to different age groups of children and adults. With your passion for water sports, you will take charge and lead a range of water and land activities whilst prioritising the safety of all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• To greet our guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• To supervise and coach our gusts during exciting watersports activities 
• Making sure that all activities are delivered in a secure and fun way 
• Making sure all watersport facilities and equipment are clean
• Running courses to Royal Yachting Association standard standard
• Providing sailing tuition on a one-to-one basis and to groups of adults or children from 8 years upward
• Making sure that all watersports equipment is checked and maintained regularly

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

• RYA Dinghy Instructor qualification is essential
• RYA Powerboat Level 2 or Higher (internal training possible)
• Dragon Boat Helm is preferable
• First Aid Certificate
• DBS check will be required and arranged by the company
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
